A product complaint can relate to a physical issue with a medicine and/or its packaging (including the label and package inserts). Product quality complaints can include issues with a product's identification, delivery, distribution, quality, reliability, safety, effectiveness, or performance.

If you have a product quality complaint related to a physical issue with a Novavax product or its packaging, please report the complaint via ONE of the following ways:

Is the sample available for return?
If the sample is available, please retain the sample for 21 days from today. Novavax may request the sample as part of our investigation.

- A description of the circumstances that led to the discovery of the product defect
- How long have you experienced the issue with the product?
- If use or user error relates to the Product Quality Complaint

Please consult your doctor, nurse or other healthcare provider, who is in the best position to advise you about the suitability of a particular treatment as they have access to the details of your medical history, as well as information on all medicinal products.

Report an Adverse Event (AE)

If you are concerned about a side-effect, it should be reported on a Yellow Card. Reporting forms and information can be found at https://coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/ or search for MHRA Yellow Card in the Google Play or Apple App Store. When reporting please include the vaccine brand and batch/Lot number if available.

Alternatively, adverse events of concern in association with a Novavax product can be reported to Novavax Pharmacovigilance at +44 203 514 1838 between 09:00–17:00 Monday - Friday or via the Novavax Adverse Event Reporting Form.

Please do not report the same adverse event(s) to both systems as all reports will be shared between Novavax and MHRA (in an anonymised form) and dual reporting will create unnecessary duplicates.
